It’s a great time to be a Lamborghini owner in India as the Italian automaker is on a spree to bring its entire stable to the Indian market. The latest Bull to join the club will be the high performance Huracan Performante which is being launched here tomorrow.
The Performante moniker has been achieved through the addition of an active aerodynamics package, revised bumpers and extensive use of carbon fibre. It gets bespoke Pirelli tyres and an updated version of the 5.2-litre V10 which now produces 631bhp giving it a 0-100kmph time of 2.9 seconds!
All these technological updates have resulted in the Performante setting a Nurburgring lap time of 6.52.01 and making it the fastest production car to lap the Green Hell ever! This means those lucky (and very rich) owners will not only get a crazy looking Italian beast, but also a performance machine that has distinction of conquering one of the toughest race tracks in the world.
It is expected that Lamborghini will price this car at least a crore over the price of the most expensive Huracan on sale in India which is the LP 610-4 Spyder that has been priced at Rs 3.89 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
