Lamborghini has announced that it will introduce two rear-wheel drive spec Huracan supercars later this year. The announcement was made by their chief test driver Giorgio Sanna in an interview with another motoring publication during the launch of the track-spec Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo.
It is believed that one of the cars will become the Huracan Superleggera which, like its predecessor will be light, fast, stripped out and more importantly significantly, faster than the standard car. It is likely to be track oriented with a minimalistic interior. Sadly, there will be no option for a manual gearbox as the Italian manufacturer has phased them out due to low demand.
The other model is expected to be a more affordable version of the supercar and will most likely be called the Huracan LP 610-2. Both cars will continue to use the 5.2-litre V10 mill, which in standard form produces 602bhp and 560Nm of torque.
