Lamborghini is about to make its baby supercar, the Huracan, a lot more intense with the customary Superleggera version. One of the early prototypes have been spotted on test with clear visions of the revised rear housing new exhaust pipes.
Taking inspiration from the Huracan GT3 race car, the generously-sized dual pipes sit centrally. In terms of performance upgrades, expect weight savings of over 100kg, as well as a power hike and quicker operation for the dual-clutch transmission.
This Superleggera version will be the third model in the Huracan range, after the LP580-2 rear-wheel drive coupe and the LP610-4 Spyder. Ferrari has the twin-turbo 488 GTB, while McLaren has the 675LT and this is where the Huracan Superleggera would step in. The latter will come later this year as a 2017 model and is likely to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
