Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, the open-top version of the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, was recently showcased at a function in New York. The supercar will soon be imported and distributed by Automobili Lamborghini America S.p.A.
The Huracan Spyder is based on the Huracan LP 610-4 coupe and features the same design and powertrain. The only difference is the open roof. The soft top is hydraulically controlled and can be lowered in 17 seconds even when the car is doing speeds of up to 50kmph. To improve aerodynamics and aid in airflow to the engine compartment, two fins rise from the rear of the seats when the roof is folded down.
This Huracan convertible is powered by the same naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine from the coupe that belts out 602bhp of power at 8,250rpm and 560Nm of torque. This powerplant comes mated to a seven speed dual clutch transmission and an all-wheel-drive. The Spyder is just 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe which does the 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 324kmph.
Prices of the drop top version of the Huracan sports car will be made available soon. While the Huracan LP610-4 coupe is available in India at Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom), we also can expect the open top Spyder to be launched in India soon.
