Lamborghini India has launched another model of the Huracan in India. They have fulfilled the demands of the uber-rich clientele in our country by making the Huracan rear-wheel drive (RWD) Spyder available at Rs 3.45 crore. It's the fifth model that joins the LP610-4 all-wheel drive (AWD) coupe, LP580-2 RWD coupe, AWD Spyder convertible and the Avio in India. Take a look at the photo gallery of the supercar.
The biggest highlight of the convertible is the fabric roof that can fold and unfold in 17 seconds. This can be done even on the go but only till 50kmph.
Now to accommodate the lack of a roof, the RWD Spyder sports larger air intakes at the front and rear bumpers to increase down-force.
The Huracan RWD Spyder has been specially designed for enthusiasts who prefer the drop top version and also prefer the two-wheel drive performance of the supercar.
Like the AWD Spyder, this one is also the convertible version but of the RWD Coupe. So the car gets the same mechanicals and powertrain as that of the LP580-2 RWD coupe.
The car is powered by the 5.2-litre V10 mill positioned at the rear, belting out 572bhp of peak power and 540Nm of torque.
This power is channelled via a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox to the rear wheels. The car gets a set of Pirelli PZero tyres, wrapped around 19-inch alloy rims.
This Huracan RWD Spyder can rocket to 100kmph from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds. It can further reach a top whack of 319kmph.
The driver can select from three driving modes, starting from the basic Strada to the Sport and then the Corsa. This is in the ascending levels of sportiness.
This Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder goes up against the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the Ferrari California T in the Indian market.
