Lamborghini has launched the Huracan RWD Spyder in India at a price of Rs 3.45 crore (All-India ex-showroom). This is the fifth Huracan model to be introduced to the Indian market.
Till now, the Italian carmaker's Indian counterpart has introduced the LP610-4 all-wheel drive (AWD) coupe, LP580-2 rear-wheel drive (RWD) coupe, the AWD Spyder convertible and the Avio in our country. The new RWD Spyder model now joins this exciting range of cars. It is the convertible version of the Lamborghini Huracan's RWD variant, which was specially re-engineered for enthusiasts who like the two-wheel drive performance of the car. The only difference between the regular Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 RWD and this new model is the retractable rooftop, which takes just about 17 seconds to open at speeds up to 50kmph.
The engine option remains the same 5.2-litre V10 mill that belts out a massive 580bhp of power and 540Nm of torque. A seven-speed dual clutch gearbox does the transmission duties and sends power to the rear wheels, featuring rear mechanical self-locking differential. This Huracan RWD Spyder also does the 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.6 seconds like the regular car with a top speed of 319kmph.
The overall design and styling of the Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder is the same as the standard hard top supercar. Also it comes loaded with all the bells and whistles that the Italian automaker has to offer. And given its price range, the closest competitors of this car are the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the Ferrari California T.
