A heavily camouflaged Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder prototype has been spotted testing and this comes after the brand introduced the regular Huracan Performante at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
Sources suggest that this iteration may turn out to be more powerful as it will benefit from the lighter roof and the same naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 motor which powers the Huracan Performante and makes 630bhp and 600Nm of torque. This means that under ideal conditions, this sports car should be able to hit 100kmph in around 3.1sec before scrambling to 200kmph in about 9.2sec.
Other than these updates, reports add that this drop-top version of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante will be similar to the regular model. Lamborghini may roll the Huracan Performante Spyder into showrooms soon after the model makes an international debut. It has been suggested that the brand may use the Frankfurt Motor Show in September to reveal their new offering, so stay tuned for more news in the months to come.
