The Lamborghini Huracan has been launched in Malaysia for 1.2 million RM (Rs 2.2 crore). It replaces the uber successful Gallardo supercar and was unveiled in December of last year. It follows a design similar to that of the much larger Aventador and gets the same power mill but in a higher state of tune.
The Huracan is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 that produces 610bhp, 560Nm of torque and sends power to all four-wheels via a four-wheel-drive system and seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. The car can sprint to 100 kmph from standstill in 3.2 seconds. The 0 to 200kmph run can be done in 9.9 seconds with a claimed top-speed of 325kmph. The Huracan features stop-start technology as standard and has CO2 emissions as low as 290 g/km.
It shares a lot of its interior with the Aventador but with obvious design changes to differentiate both the cars. It is expected to be launched in India by the end of next month and will be priced in the range of Rs 1.8crore to Rs 2.5 crore.
