The Lamborghini Huracan Avio was unveiled in Geneva earlier this year and the special edition Huracan is set to land on Indian shores on September 22. With only 250 of the LP 610 Avios to be built globally, the Lamborghini will be one of the most exclusive raging bulls in the country.
The Huracan in itself is bonkers with its 5204cc naturally aspirated four valves per cylinder V10 engine belting out 602bhp of power and 560Nm of torque for a car that weighs around one and a half tonnes. Inspired by fighter jets, the Avio gets a better aero package over the Huracan to help extract more performance out of the car. Signature to the Avio will be its contrast painted front spoiler lip, the side skirts the racy twin offset stripe on the hood and the L 63 badge on the driver door with a bullseye.
It should be offered in five new shades, one of which is gloss finished while the other four will be matte finished grey, blue and orange colours. The interiors will be done up in black leather and hexagonal pattern Alcantara upholstery with the L 63 embroidered on seat backs reminding us of the incorporation of Lamborghini supercars in 1963.
The Huracan Avio will be sold in India along with the Huracan LP580-2, Huracan LP610-4, the Aventador LP700-4 coupe and the roadster. For the special edition, we may expect a price tag of about Rs 4.25 crore to Rs 4.5 crore, ex-showroom, Delhi.
