Lamborghini has previewed the Egoista (Italian for selfish) concept car at a private function that was held during the Italian supercar maker’s 50th anniversary celebrations. If the special edition Aventador and the Veneno concept car are two-seater radical designs, then the Egoista as its name suggests is all about the driver and his experience.
While the company has not made any official announcement about the vehicle reports suggest that concept car will be powered by a 5.2-litre V10 (same as the Gallardo) and has been modelled along the lines of an Apache Gunship helicopter. It is believed that the car has been designed by VW group design head Walter de Silva.
The single seater Egoista has adapted the same radical ‘everything for aerodynamics’ design from the Veneno. Since this is believed to be using the same engine as the Gallardo, it is likely that it may be a 50th anniversary concept car based on the baby Lambo.
