Sources revealed that Lamborghini's top executive, Stefano Domenicali is open to the idea of introducing a four-door saloon.
This idea is not new to the brand, especially after Lamborghini showcased the Estoque concept in 2008. Like the pictures disclose, this concept sported a distinct Lamborghini fascia with the unmistakeable diamond shaped intakes, an aggressive silhouette which measured 5.15m in length. However, the Estoque simply didn’t make it to production as the Urus made more sense from a financial point of view, and also because SUVs are in the lime light.
Which is why Stefano Domenicali believes that if the Urus clicks, it could then be possible for a four-door saloon to be given the chance to wear a Lamoborghini badge. He told reporters, “We need to be open to make the right decision. It’s a rolling process that we need to take, and to be ready with the right decision at the right moment.”
For us, there’s no doubt that the Lamborghini cutting-edge design in a four-door saloon with a V10 or V12 motor could be a stimulating proposition. Stay tuned to CarWale for more information on this.
