Lamborghini’s latest SV creation, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster, has made its global debut at the Monterey Car week in California. In true SV tradition, the hardcore convertible will be available in a limited series of just 500 units.
This new model, in fact, is the first open-top Lamborghini to bear the name Superveloce. As a reminder, SV models, like the Aventador SV and the old Murcielago SV, are the most performance-oriented and fastest versions of standard Lamborghinis.
The Aventador SV Roadster comes with a power hike of 50bhp to 750bhp and a dry weight of 1,575kg, which is 50kg lighter when compared to the Aventador Roadster. The Superveloce Roadster’s highlighting features include a powered rear window that allows the 6.5-litre V12 powerhouse to fill the cabin with its glorious noise.
Speaking of which, the naturally V12 now makes 750bhp and 690Nm of torque. As a result, acceleration from 0- 100kmph takes just 2.9 seconds and the top speed is rated over 350kmph.

Deliveries of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster will begin in early 2016 with each example carrying a base price of $530,075 (Rs 3.48 crore).
