At the recent 'Lamborghini Day 2017' in Tokyo, the centre of attraction was a special edition Aventador S Roadster. It will be sold only in Japan and has been designed to celebrate the Italian marque's completion of 50 years in the Japanese market. Let's take a look at the pictures of this limited edition, which is inspired by the five natural elements in Japanese culture - earth, wind, fire, water, and sky.
This special edition Lamborghini Aventador S comes in five unique versions and the one that was showcased was the 'water' version.
Apart from this actual water version of the car, Lamborghini has also exhibited scale models of the other four cars based on the remaining elements.Â
The main idea behind the inception of this special edition was by Lamborghini's Ad Personam Department. The car was then developed in collaboration with Centro Stile.
The brainstorming led to the creation of unique paint schemes for each model. Each of them signify their natural elements.Â
This 'Water' version comes in a combination of blue and black. They say it took 170 hours of labour and the contribution of ten specialists to create this version.
The car's windscreen frame and hard top are both made of exposed carbon fibre. There's a '50 Japan' badge near the rear fender to add to its uniqueness.
Complementing the exterior design is the interior adorned in Nero Ade black leather and blue stitching. Furthermore, the Nero Cosmus black Alcantara leather adds to the premiumness.Â
The team has ensured to match the colours in the cabin to that of the exterior with the same gradations and shading. Specialists took 100 hours of labour to create this effect.
What completes the design is the hexagonal carbon fibre plate with the Japanese symbol for water. It is another highlight that adds to its exclusivity.
