Post much wait, globally popular sports carmaker Lamborghini will be launching the new Aventador S in the country. The new model gets a comprehensive mid-life cycle update that includes improved dynamics for better handling and additional 41bhp of power than its predecessor. To make things more interesting on the track, the new model also gets a four-wheel-steering system.
Under the hood, the new Lamborghini Aventador S will be powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that comes mated to a seven gearbox to generate a massive 730bhp of power. The hypercar’s top speed has been electronically restricted to 349kmph and does a 0 – 100kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The automaker has also claimed that the upcoming model has reduced drag by almost 400 per cent thereby offering the best of handling in the most slippery conditions. Moreover, the front fascia has been revised to create an additional 130 per cent of downforce, while the rear gets a three position wing which increases downforce up to 50 per cent.
The front axle of the Lamborghini Aventador S gets a dynamic steering setup and the rear gets two separate actuators with five-millisecond-quick adjustments that respond as per the driver’s steering input. The new model gets revised pushrod and suspension setting for a quicker response. More details about the vehicle will be known post its launch in the country.
