The Nexon has been a successful product for Tata and the Indian carmaker has launched the special Kraz Edition to celebrate the first anniversary of the all-new SUV that was launched last year. The Kraz edition gets a special black and silver dual-tone paint scheme with bright-green highlights on the outside as well as on the inside and is offered at a price tag beginning from Rs 7.14 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
It gets bright green mirrors, green inserts on the mesh-grille in the front and on the wheel caps as well along with the Kraz badge. Even the interior gets a dose of black and green highlights. The seat gets green highlight stitching while the piano black dash gets green air-vents. Even the door panels and steering accents get the piano black finish.
While the Kraz is based on the XM trim, the Kraz+ is based on the XT trims. The Kraz+ gets electrically foldable mirrors, climate control, roof rails, security alarm, cooled glovebox and rear AC vents over the Kraz. It also gets a shark-fin antenna and a boot lamps over the Kraz along with the central badging.
The Nexon Kraz editions will be powered by the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, both developing 108bhp of power and mated to six-speed manual gearboxes which drive the front wheels. The Nexon Kraz will take on the Ford Ecosport, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Honda WR-V in the compact-SUV segment in the Indian car market.
