Ssangyong launched its SUT 1 pick-up truck at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. The truck will cater to a wide variety of requirements by its owners, including those looking for a hardworking truck. However Ssangyong has said that this is no stripped out workhorse but rather a truck that offers the luxury and comfort of premium SUVs. As a result the SUT-1 boasts a sunroof, Bluetooth compatible music system and a trip computer.
The vehicle is powered by a 2-litre diesel engine that puts out a maximum of 155bhp. There are two variants to choose from – a front-wheel-drive and one with part time four-wheel-drive. There’s also the option of choosing between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
