The world saw the first Megacar unveiling at the 2014 Geneva Motor show and this year, again a Megacar will emerge from Koenigsegg's stable. Apart from the debut of the new Agera RS, the carmaker will reveal a new Megacar – the Koenigsegg Regera.
The details that are available suggest that the Regera will be another addition to the extreme Agera-variation and will be more extreme and powerful. If the Regera is anything to go by, we can expect a lot of power, more than one megawatt of it! This translates to around 1,360bhp which by any standards, is, is a lot of it!
And if we were to go by the name, 'Regera' means reign in Swedish then the carmaker might want us to think that the 'King' of cars is coming. We can expect the same amount of enthusiasm and excitement to be created for the unveiling of this car as it was created for the One:1 when it was unveiled.
Well, the arrival of the Megacar will be accompanied by the Koenigsegg Agera RS. This will come as a replacement for the Agera S and Agera R and will be Koenigsegg’s only ‘mainstream’ model. Coming back to the Megacar, let us hope to see some 'Mega-ness' at the Geneva Motor show with the unveiling of the Koenigsegg Regera.
