- Will be the third Kia 2.0 offering in India
- To be positioned above the Sonet
Kia has officially confirmed the name of its new B-SUV for the Indian market. To be called the Syros, it will be the third offering under the Kia 2.0 program. It will be positioned above the Sonet in Kia India's line-up.
As seen in the teaser, the new Kia Syros will feature vertically stacked LED DRLs and LED headlamps. Select variants of the model will also come equipped with a blind spot monitor, while a 360-degree camera is also expected to be on offer.
The 2024 Syros, based on previous spy shots, hints at features such as two-piece LED taillights, machined alloy wheels, and flush-fitting door handles. The interiors of the car could be equipped with dual 10.25-inch screens, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, cruise control, automatic climate control, wireless charging, and more.
While Kia remains tight-lipped on the technical specifications of the Syros, we expect it to be offered with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder NA petrol engine paired with five-speed manual and AMT units. The launch of the new B-SUV will take place in the coming months.
