- Could be launched by the end of 2025
- Will be offered in both petrol and diesel
One of the planned developments for the Kia Syros is an X-Line version which has been confirmed as a future launch. Officialy Kia has not confirmed when it will arrive but our money is on an end 2025 launch much like how it happened for the Sonet and Carens.
The formula will be the same as the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens X-Line. It will be based on a top-spec variant of the Syros across both the petrol and diesel powertrain options. This means features like climate control with rear vents, dual digital screens, level-2 ADAS, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, ventilated second row with a recline function.
The petrol engine in question is Kia’s 1.0-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. Both get a six-speed MT with the petrol getting a seven-speed DCT and the diesel a six-speed AT. Pricing for the Kia Syros will be announced on 3 February. It's their fourth locally manufactured car and will fit in between the Sonet and Seltos in their hierarchy.
