Kia India has officially commenced production of the Syros B-SUV at its production facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The model, prices of which will be announced on 1 February, will rival the likes of the Hyundai Exter and the Tata Punch.
The bookings of the Kia Syros were opened on 3 January, and the model has received over 10,000 bookings till date. Notably, it is offered in a range of six variants and eight colours. Further, there are two engine and three transmission options to choose from.
In terms of features, the new Syros receives a Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, second-row seats with recline and ventilation functions, dual 10.25-inch screens, Kia Connect, 360-degree camera, six airbags, all-LED lighting, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and flush-fitting door handles. The model will be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, and deliveries are scheduled to commence in February.
