- Syros prices in India are expected to be revealed in January 2025
- Available in six variants and eight colours
Kia is all set to commence bookings of the new Syros SUV in the country later this week. This could be followed by a price reveal next month, while deliveries are slated to begin in February 2025. A single unit of the model has now been spotted in the base-spec avatar.
As seen in the images here, the Kia Syros base variant is finished in a shade of Imperial Blue, which is one of the eight mono tone colours it is offered in. The photos give us a look only at the rear profile, which features a split taillight setup, faux skid plate in silver, shark-fin antenna, and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess.
The lack of roof rails is a clear giveaway that the unit in question is the entry-level HTK variant, as the former is available starting from the HTK (O) variant. Notably, the new Syros is offered in four higher variants, namely HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). A few other notable features of the entry-level variant include halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB Type-C charging ports, power windows, rear door sunshade curtains, and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
Under the hood, the 2025 Kia Syros is available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. A six-speed manual unit is standard, while six-speed automatic and seven-speed DCT units are offered as options.
