Ahead of its launch in India on 22 August, interiors of the India-spec Kia Seltos have been revealed. The mid-size SUV will be available in two body trims - GT Line and HT Line and will sport slightly different interior styles for each trim.
While the GT Line is a sportier version of the car, the HT Line is a classier model that is targeted towards family buyers.
Contrary to the global-spec model, which features all-black interiors, the Indian version will get dual-tone black and beige finish for the cabin. The Seltos sports a D-cut multi-functional steering wheel and a digital display for the automatic air-con unit. The party piece is a large panel that integrates the 10.25-inch infotainment system and the instrument cluster.
The Seltos HT Line features beige leather upholstery with white stitching all around. On the other hand, GT Line gets a sporty upholstery, along with contrast red stitching on the steering wheel, seats, armrest and gear lever. It also gets aluminium pedals and GT Line badges on the seats. Kia Seltos will come packed with features like an eight-speaker Bose audio system, sound mood lighting, 360-degree camera, sunroof, UVO Connect internet connectivity features, heads-up display, ventilated seats and much more.
Under the hood, the Kia Seltos will be available with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, and it'll also get a range-topping 1.4-litre TGDI turbocharged petrol motor that will be offered with the GT Line trim. A six-speed manual transmission will be standard on the 1.5L engines, while the 1.4L mill will get a seven-speed DCT. The 1.5L petrol motor will further get a CVT, and the diesel powertrain will come with a six-speed automatic torque converter.
