- Kia Seltos bookings open today for Rs 25,000

Bookings for the Kia Seltos have begun from today for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Customers can book the Seltos mid-size SUV from the Kia Motors India official website or via the authorised dealerships located across the country. The new Kia Seltos was unveiled last month and will be available in two body styles including Tech Line and GT Line. The model will be offered in eight monotone colour options and five dual tone colour options.
Design wise, the upcoming Kia Seltos features the signature tiger nose grille up-front, flanked by crown jewel LED headlamps on either side. A few other highlights include LED DRLs, ice-cube LED fog lamps, LED tail lights, 17 inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers and red accents on the side cladding.
Inside, the Kia Seltos will come equipped with an array of features including a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation and UVO Connectivity, ambient mood lighting, seven-inch coloured MID, 400 watt eight speaker Bose music system, eight-inch Heads-Up Display (HUD), ventilated front seats, power adjustable driver seat and sun shade curtains. The Seltos will be offered with safety features such as six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake-force Assist System (BAS), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and disc brakes on all four corners. Powertrain options for the Kia Seltos include a 1.5-litre petrol engine, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.5-litre petrol motor will be available with a six speed manual transmission and a CVT unit. The 1.4-litre turbo-petrol motor will be offered only with a seven-speed DCT unit. The 1.5-litre diesel motor can be had with a six speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. Once launched in India on 22 August, the Kia Seltos will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and the Renault Duster. Expect the Seltos to arrive with a price tag of approximately Rs 11-17 lakhs (ex-showroom).
