Kia Seltos, the brand’s first product in India has accumulated a record booking of 6,046 units on the first day itself. The company further adds that the Kia website has received two lakh hits since the commencement of bookings on 16 July. Moreover, from the total number, 1,628 bookings have come in from the website alone. Kia Motors India commenced pre-bookings for the Seltos yesterday for a token amount of Rs 25,000, across its dealerships in 160 cities in the country.
The Kia Seltos will be available in two trims - Tech Line and GT Line - and will get features such as eight-inch heads-up display, 10.25 HD touchscreen, a hi-tech sound mood lamp, a rear shade curtain, 360-degree surround view monitor, blind-spot monitoring, world’s first connect air-purifier, highly advanced proprietary UVO connect system for seamless and wireless communication with the car, eight-speaker Bose Hi-Fi sound system and more.
The Seltos is due for India launch on 22 August. Kia will manufacture the vehicle at its Anantapur facility with annual production capacity of 3 lakh units.
