Combining exports with its domestic sales, the company has crossed the 2.20 Lakh cumulative sales mark this year. Kia India has also recorded its highest ever monthly export figure, dispatching over 8,100 units in global markets last month.
Commenting on the occasion, Hardeep Singh Brar, Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said, 'We have been observing upward sales momentum since the beginning of this year, and it is a good sign for the Indian automotive market. Comparing the quarters, our monthly average so far for Q3 of 2022 stands at 7.8 per cent over Q2 and 10.9 per cent over Q1 of this year, indicating gradual improvement in supply chain constraints and healthy consumer sentiment. With the demand and supply curve staying positive, we are optimistic that an excellent festive season in terms of sales is ahead of us. Intending to provide a more enhanced, premium, and exclusive product experience to our customers, we also launched the Sonet X Line earlier this week. In order to inject fresh enthusiasm in our customers, we have recently launched a refreshed version of Seltos with six airbags as standard fitment, making it the only SUV in the segment offering the safety feature.”
