Kia India has gone online with the arrival of its new website. With the pages now live and running, Kia has undertaken the next leg of business which is to seek out dealerships to establish across the country and in this regard, it will undertake a tour in August.
Dubbed the Kia Dealer Roadshow, it will, in August, visit four of India’s largest cities: Delhi on 8-9 August, Mumbai on 16 – 17 August, Bangalore on 23 – 24 August and finally Kolkata on 1 September. Commenting on the tour, Yong S Kim, head of sales and marketing, Kia Motors India, said “India ranks very high in our list of priorities and Kia Motors India is looking for dealers who want to be leaders – passionate and talented businesses who want to grow and succeed in partnership with the brand. “
“India is a unique market and it’s important to Kia that we learn from those who have a deep understanding of local buyers and their needs. Like other regions where Kia already has a presence, we will offer Indian customers the highest levels of satisfaction. Our dealer partners hold the key to achieving this aim,” he added.
The South Korean automaker has already announced a factory in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and will begin local operation here once the brand arrives here in 2019. Taking a localized approach, Kia will begin its innings with an India-specific compact sedan and compact SUV.
