Kia India has rolled out the production version of its first car for India, the Seltos, manufactured at its state-of-the-art facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The company further announced the commencement of mass production of the Seltos in India after testing the vehicle over 20 Lakh kilometres in different climatic conditions and some of the most challenging terrains in India. The Seltos has received more 23,311 bookings in 3 weeks from the launch and the company has revealed that deliveries for the model will begin right after the launch on 22 August, details of which are available here.
The first Kia Seltos was rolled off the assembly line in the presence of Shin Bong-kil, ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to India, and Mr. Kookhyun Shim, managing director and CEO of Kia Motors India.
