- Will have max output of 585bhp
- Will get refreshed front and rear look
The Kia EV6 has been in the market globally for over three years now and earlier this year, Kia revealed the facelifted EV6, which is basically a midlife makeover for the EV. The facelifted model is expected to hit dealerships in late 2024 or early 2025. Here, our spies have caught a prototype of the facelifted GT variant in Germany.
The EV6 is built on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and offers 800V of rapid charging. As for the battery pack and specifications, the facelifted EV6 gets a larger 84kWh unit, which is around 6.6kWh over the previous iteration. Meanwhile, the battery pack continues to support 350kW DC fast charging, which enables the battery to charge from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes.
The sporty GT variant currently has two motors with a total peak output of 585bhp. For this new version, Kia will change the layout of the front and rear bumpers as well as the graphics of the lamp units at the front and back. We also assume the GT range will come with new wheels and colours and an updated interior.
