Kia India recently launched the Gravity Edition across its sub-20 lakh rupees models including the Sonet, Seltos, and the Carens. Out of the lot, the new special edition of the Carens MPV, which starts at an ex-showroom cost of Rs. 12.10 lakh, has started reaching showrooms across India.
The Kia Carens Gravity is positioned above the Premium (O) version with three powertrain options. The distinguishing element includes a Gravity badge on the front doors along with additional features over the Premium (O) variant. This includes a dash camera, sunroof, flat-bottom steering wheel, faux leather seats, LED reading lamps, and leatherette door centre and armrests.
Under the hood, the Carens Gravity has three engine options – 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre TGDi petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine. While the TGDi has a six-speed iMT gearbox, the other two powertrains can be had with a traditional manual transmission.
In other news, the Korean automaker will begin the bookings of the new Carnival tomorrow, 16 September, 2024. Interested customers can put down their names for the premium MPV by paying a registration amount of Rs. 2 lakh.
