Rally, stunt driver and YouTube sensation Ken Block will give the new Ford Focus RS its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed during late June this year. This year’s Festival of Speed theme is ‘Flat-Out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge’ which is quite apt for Block, whose Gymkhana series of videos have racked up over 300 million views on YouTube.
Ford has made it official that the famed stunt driver will pilot the new Focus RS up the iconic Goodwood Hill climb throughout the weekend. Furthermore, Block will also bring his incredible ‘Hoonicorn’, a 1965 Ford Mustang that has been customised with four-wheel-drive, an 845bhp V8 engine, bespoke suspension and tyres and bodywork inspired by rally and racing cars.
The Hoonicorn was used in Block’s most recent viral video, Gymkhana 7, which has gained more than 24 million views on YouTube since its release in November 2014.
