World famous stunt driver – Ken Block and Hoonigan Racing have unveiled their Gymkhana seven ride Hoonicorn RTR. This vehicle is based on a 1965 Ford Mustang and was built by ASD Motorsports.
The Hoonicorn RTR is powered by a 6.7-litre V8 engine belting out 845bhp and 976Nm of twisting force. All this power is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed Sadev SC90-24 gearbox. The car gets a hydraulic handbrake system for those insane drifts. It features a tubular chassis, carbon fiber body panels and 18 inch Fifteen52 wheels with Pirelli Trofeo R tyres.
According to Block, "This is a project that I've been working on for two years, so to see it fully come to fruition and be able to drive it for Gymkhana Seven was absolutely amazing." He went on to say, "The attention to detail with the fabrication and bodywork blows my mind. This is hands-down the best Gymkhana car I've had yet."
This is the first time Ken Block will be seen driving a prepped up old school car. In this case it is a muscle car from the days of yore. It would be one cracker of a video and we can’t wait to see the video.
