JPSI, the organisers of the Indian Grand Prix and owners of the Buddh international circuit have won the title of Best F1 Race Promoter for the second year running. They were given the prize at the FIA award ceremony that was held on December 7th in Turkey.
Among the awardees, which included people like 2012 Champion Sebastian Vettel and runner up Fernando Alonso, was Farhan Vohra, the head of race operations for the BIC since opened up two years ago. He won the ‘Best Clerk of The Course’ award.
Commenting on the award, Sameer Gaur, MD and CEO of JPSI said “this is indeed a very proud moment and I am honoured to receive this FIA award for the second time on behalf of my entire team and the country, whose support and enthusiasm was responsible for us to win this award again.”
