Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has spilled the beans on the upcoming models and the improvisations on the existing line-up.
Marchionne addressing the media at the Detroit Motor Show said, “The next-generation Jeep Wrangler is up for approval in the next 10 weeks”. He added,"We know we need to update the architecture and we need to take weight out."
The company’s top brass also referred to the Jeep Compass and Patriot as the "weakest links" in their North American line-up. But, he added that this will be dealt with, once their new entry-level model that will replace the Jeepster name is launched.
Marchionnealso confirmed that the styling of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan successor is "95 percent" complete but the company are undecided on a platform for the next-generation Dodge Journey. The Alfa Romeo models line-up might get bigger apart from the 4C in the United States next year.
