Jeep has launched a new limited edition of the Renegade SUV in the UK market. The carmaker plans to have a production run of only 100 units of this special edition christened 'Desert Hawk'. As the name suggests, the new iteration is inspired by the desert and gets a new striking design with a myriad of unique features. Check them out through this picture gallery.
While the Renegade SUV is offered with three colour options namely - alpine white, anvil and black; the new mojave sand paint scheme is exclusive to the Desert Hawk.
The cosmetic enhancements include an exclusive bonnet, 17-inch low gloss black wheels and rear body panel decals.
The cabin of the SUV features black leather and fabric seats with a Moab desert map logo on the seat base. The driver seat benefits from electric lumbar support.
In addition, the Desert Hawk sports a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch full-colour thin-film transistor (TFT) cluster display and cruise control.
Then there's dual zone climate control, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, live services, bluetooth and satnav. Most of the features are carried over from the standard model.
The Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk comes powered by a 170bhp 2.0-litre MultiJet diesel mill mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Keeping in mind its off-road nature there are provisions like Jeep Active Drive Low, Selec-Terrain system, 8.7-inch ground clearance, skid plates, Hill-descent control and 19-inch water fording.
