Jeep’s Renegade has once again been spotted testing in India with heavy camouflage, trying to conceal the otherwise evident external design cues of this SUV.
Earlier this month Jeep revealed at the Auto Expo their intention to launch the Wrangler and the Cherokee by June this year, and going by the sightings of the Renegade, we can also expect this SUV at a later point. When originally unveiled in 2014, the car came with a 1.6-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel motor with a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic box. We can safely expect FCA to roll out the diesel avatar to begin with, along with the option of the AWD on a higher variant.
Jeep demonstrated their dedication at the Auto Expo 2016 to offer committed sales and service for Jeep buyers, and the car maker has also revealed their plans to build a new Jeep SUV in 2017 that will roll out of their Pune plant.
