Jeep has launched a new version of the Wrangler, called the Night Edition. First showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the Wrangler Night Edition will be produced in a limited run, of which just 66 units will end up in the UK.
Updates like black inserts in the grille slats, black 18-inch wheels and the decals on the hood set the Wrangler Night Edition apart from the standard version. Customers can order for a Wrangler Night Eagle in eight paint schemes, including black, red, billet silver, white, granite, rhino, purple and chief. It is available with a premium soft top as well as a body-coloured hard top. Inside, the seats are adorned with McKinley leather upholstery with contrast stitching. It gets a nine-speaker Alpine audio system and a 6.5-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system.
The ‘Night Eagle’ has become the new moniker that Jeep has been using for its special edition models, and we have already seen such trims of the Cherokee and Renegade over the past two years. The Wrangler Night Edition has been priced at GBP 39,810 (Rs 32.96 lakh) in the UK, which makes it more expensive than a base variant by at least Rs 4.19 lakh.
