Jeep has just launched a new limited edition version of its popular range of Wrangler 4x4 vehicles called the Rubicon Recon. While the two-door variant will cost 40,505 Pounds, the four-door version will cost 42,175 Pounds.
On the inside there's a black-and-red theme which includes red stitching for the black leather seats with a 'Rubicon' embroidered logo. There's also red netting on the front door pockets and centre console, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and red seat belts that distinguish the Recon from the rest of the Wrangler line-up. The new Rubicon Recon special-edition model is powered by Jeep’s 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine that makes 284bhp and that comes mated to an automatic five-speed transmission.
First revealed at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon offers improved 4x4 capabilities due to specific off-road components such as a stronger front axle and heavy-duty cast rear differential covers. It is based on the existing Wrangler Rubicon model.,but But the new Recon adds attractive adventure styling through the 18-inch granite-crystal painted alloys, a black dual top (including both soft and hardtop options), a dual-vented hood with 'Rubicon' decals finished in red, and a black spare tyre cover. This special edition will be made available to buyers in three exterior colours: Gobi, Bright White, and Granite Crystal.
