Jeep continues testing the Grand Commander in China. This time around, fresh images reveal the interior of the SUV with a seven-seat configuration. The company will reveal the new SUV at the upcoming 2018 Beijing Motor Show.
Based on what can be seen, the Jeep Grand Commander gets a multifunction three-spoke steering wheel, black and grey upholstery, and cup holders behind the gear selector and second-row bench seats. The one spotted on test gets an automatic transmission. Media reports indicate the vehicle will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 266bhp of power.
Reports further indicate that the vehicle will be the production version of the Jeep Yuntu Concept. However, more details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come. Jeep is unlikely to launch the Commander in India anytime soon.
