The Compass is all set to launch and with its arrival, Jeep is expecting a turn in their fortune. Internationally launched Jeep Compass now comes with Mopar cosmetic touches and the manufacturer plans to introduce the same for the Indian market. Mopar is FCA’s subsidiary which designs and builds a small number of customised vehicles.
The company has introduced 70 Mopar accessories to enhance the appearance of their forthcoming product. Purpose-built accessories also assures increased utility with sporty looks. The list of accessories includes decals on the hood and doors, roof rack, bumper inserts and black rock rail. A set of 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels are the additional accessories on offer.
The interiors are enhanced by the sporty pedals, leather wrapped gear knob and door sill embedded with ‘JEEP’ logo. The Compass will also be offered with a tablet holder, a working table hooked to the front headrest and an organiser stitched behind the driver seat.
Jeep-skills, a smart phone application is also a part of the additional accessories. The smart phone application can be connected to the 8.4 inch infotainment display and will offer real time information on driving performance and allow to share the badge won with other drivers within the Jeep community.
The Jeep-skills app will also monitor acceleration, braking and G-force along with wheel position to offer driver a better control over the vehicle.
Mopar also caters to adventure junkies by offering a horizontal roof rack/rail to mount sports gear and a carry tray mounted on the back of the SUV to carry bicycles and adventure kits.
