The Jeep C-SUV has been spotted sans camouflage for the first time ahead of its debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show this November. This will be the new baby Jeep and is expected to be produced here in India too once the American automaker has its local operation in place.
The pictures reveal that this new SUV will look like a smaller version of the Grand Cherokee and sport a very similar design. Noticeable elements include the modern version of a 7 slate grille, flared wheel arches and the design of the tail lamps. There is a chrome ring for the glass area, tail lamps and fog lamps. It gets a contrast coloured roof and silver finish ORVMs. It also gets a star shaped chrome alloy wheels. Captured in the pictures is a Limited variant which is a higher spec variant and is likely to get things like leather upholstery, touchscreen infotainment system, climate control and seating for seven.
This car will be important for Jeep India as it will be the first locally produced model that they are aiming to make when the 280 million USD investment at Ranjangaon is complete. For now though, it will start production in Brazil later this year once the unveiling takes place.
