Jaguar India has launched the special edition of the XKR here, for prices starting Rs 1.27 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). The special edition model will be available in both coupe and convertible form and are loaded with features to make it even more exclusive.
There are few discreet changes to the exteriors including the 20-inch wheel polished alloy design and exclusive paints. However, the most notable upgrades e to the interiors. The Tata-owned luxury brand is offering hand-crafted Artisan interiors on the special edition, which provides tactile 'scraffito' finished leather to the front seats, instrument binnacle, door and rear quarter casings. The other limited features include new veneer finishe in Shadow Walnut, a 525W Bowers & Wilkins sound system, 16 by 16 way adjustable heated Performance seats, a heated steering wheel and keyless entry/start.
The special edition XKR is also offered with two exclusive Artisan interior colourways – Navy with Jet headlining and Truffle with Canvas headlining. Convertible hood colours have also been carefully selected and include Black, Blue, Grey and Brown. Special Edition treadplates and stainless steel pedals are additional discreet enhancements.
Under the hood of the XKR is the Jaguar’s supercharged V8 petrol engine, churning out mammoth 510PS and 625Nm of torque. The car is also laced with safety features like Adaptive Restraint Technology system and Pedestrian Contact Sensing system.
