Jaguar XJ Ultimate launched in India

Jaguar has launched the most premium variants of the XJ called the XJ Ultimate in India starting Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). Unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, the luxurious long-wheel-base variant provides limo comforts in the back with separate seats and many additional features.

The rear seats of the XJ Ultimate are separated by a well-equipped centre console. The interiors are handcrafted and get features like fully adjustable rear seats, motorised folding table, chilled champagne bucket, iPad with keyboards mounted to front seats, 20-speaker music system and LED lighting.

There are no changes to the exteriors of the XJ Ultimate. The diesel 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel version producing 275bhp and 600Nm torque is priced at Rs 1,78,84,481; while the 5.0-litre petrol V8 producing 385bhp and 515Nm torque costs Rs 1,87,96,544. (All prices ex-showroom Mumbai).
