The upcoming 2015 Jaguar XJ has been spied almost undisguised by a source. It looks like the test mule is in the final stages of development and we might as well see the model unveiled at the Paris Motor Show this year.
The changes aren’t drastic and the updated model gets a new front bumper, different air dams, revised bumper at the rear and restyled exhaust tips. The illumination department – headlights and tail lamps could get some minor changes as they were hidden under camouflage.
The XJ is expected to be powered by the same engines, but Jaguar might introduce a new plug-in hybrid variant. The details aren’t official, but there are rumours that the new hybrid variant will feature the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine working in tandem with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.
If the XJ is unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, we might see the updated model hitting our shores by early 2015.
