British luxury carmaker Jaguar has added a new variant called the XF R-Sport Black. The company has also updated other variants of the XF lineup.
The new variant R-Sport Black gets a choice of five paint shades, full leather upholstery, sports seats with memory function, 770W Meridian Surround sound system and 20-inch Black Kalimnos alloy.
Powering this variant is the familiar 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine churning out 187bhp and 450Nm of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The entire XF range gets heated seats, heated windscreen, front parking sensors and a rear- view camera. All these models also get upgraded alloy-wheels and the XFR and the XFR-S trims get Blind Spot Monitor as standard.
This is a last attempt at helping the sales of the XF before the next generation model makes its debut at the New York Motor Show in April. Jaguar claims it has loaded the new XF R-Sport with £8,770 (Rs 8.17 lakh) worth of accessories over the previous model for just a nominal increase of £2,100 (Rs 1.95 lakh).
