Jaguar’s new XE saloon is all set to be launched in Malaysia on January 28. Competition for this executive luxury saloon comes from the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4. Jaguar Malaysia has already set up a webpage where enthusiasts can sign up to get an invite to the Jaguar XE premium compact saloon launch at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian country resort.
The new Jaguar XE body uses over 75 per cent aluminium content in its construction and that gives it immense strength and weight benefits. A 2.0-litre turbocharged engine is expected to be made available on the Malaysian-spec XEs. The new car will come with JLR’s latest InControl infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen that will have iOS and Android compatibility, Wi-Fi, navigation and voice control.
While Thailand already saw the launch of Jaguar’s latest XE in early December 2015, Indian customers will witness a launch of this much awaited Jaguar at the Auto Expo in Delhi.
