The facelift version of the popular entry-level model from Jaguar, the XE is due for its India launch on 4 December 2019. The new model features a wider and lower appearance with sleek aerodynamics to render it a muscular stance. Changes will be limited to cosmetic and feature upgrades, while mechanically it will continue to be powered by existing engine options.
The Jaguar XE facelift gets slimmer and sharper headlamps that are complemented by a reworked grille. The new model also features familiar J-blade LED DRLs. Moreover, the car now features larger air intakes on the bumper while some of the variants are expected to get black treatment on the rear bumper along with an underbody diffuser. As for the interior, the XE facelift is expected to get a dual touchscreen system on the centre console along with a new multifunction steering wheel.
Mechanically, the Jaguar XE facelift is expected to continue being powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. All the engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. More details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
