Jaguar's all-aluminium luxury sedan, the XJ, has just been updated for 2016. The British carmaker has introduced the 2016 model year XJ with subtle design changes, uprated engines and additional equipment as standard.
The updated XJ gets new LED headlights on the outside and new leather upholstery inside the cabin. The sedan now boasts of a new infotainment system. Jaguar’s InControl Touch Pro is on offer in this vehicle and the brand says it features door-to-door navigation and a 1,300-watt Meridian audio system.
Mechanically, the V6 diesel model offers more power and torque and less CO2 emissions. Furthermore, a new electric power-assisted steering system means the XJ now handles with improved precision and agility.
Like before, the new XJ range will consist of Premium Luxury, Portfolio, R-Sport and Autobiography trim levels. The high-performance XFR, on the other hand, will continue to be powered by a 550bhp, 5-litre V8 petrol engine.
The new XJ range is being manufactured at Jaguar Land Rover's Castle Bromwich plant, alongside the F-Type sports car and the all-new XF mid-size luxury sedan.
