Jaguar launches the new XE at the Auto Expo 2016

Jaguar India launched the all new Jaguar XE in the Indian market at Rs 39.90 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

Jaguar’s new XE uses an aluminium intensive monocoque design with specific Jaguar F-type inspired design cues. This saloon will come with a choice of two 2.0-litre petrol engines with a power output of 200bhp and 240bhp. The more powerful version is capable of dispatching the 0-100kmph run in 6.8sec. 

Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, “The most awaited new Jaguar XE has hit Indian roads today with its powerful stance and seductive looks. To meet the growing demand for petrol-powered vehicles, we have introduced the Jaguar XE in two petrol engine derivatives. This will also enable us to enter a new industry segment and make Jaguar more accessible to our customers, while maintaining the premium and aspirational equity of the brand”. 

Some of the features include ASPC (all surface progress control), intelligent start-stop, Jaguar drive control, 20cm touch screen display, a Meridian audio system and a surround camera system. Jaguar’s new XE will roll out of their factory in Pune and will be available at showrooms from the end of February 2016.
