Jaguar Land Rover, today, inaugurated a new showroom in Raipur. Managed by Satyam Balajee Automotives (P) Ltd, this showroom marks the entry of the Tata-owned car manufacturers in Chhattisgarh. The showroom is located at NH-6, Ring Road 1 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and will offer sales as well as after-sales services to customers.
Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “I am delighted to be opening our first showroom in the State of Chhattisgarh. The 3S facility in Raipur is the largest among the premium car dealerships in the state and reflects our commitment to set a new benchmark for customer experience.”
The company’s 20th showroom in the country is spread over an area of 50,000 square feet and has room to display upto eight cars. With this new outlet, Jaguar Land Rover has now expanded its footprint to 18 major cities across the country.
Despite getting off to a late start, Jaguar Land Rover expects to make its mark in Raipur with this state-of-the-art showroom. The three German luxury car makers, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz have already set up shops in the capital city.
Jaguar currently sells four models in the country, the XF, XJ, XKR and the F-Type of which the XF and XJ luxury sedans are locally assembled while the other two sportscars are imported as CBUs. The Land Rover line-up sold in India includes Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2. Under the ownership of Tata, Jaguar Land Rover managed to achieve record profits as it breached the GBP 2.5 billion (Rs 24,720 crore) mark this year.
