Tata Motors launched the Jaguar and Land Rover brands at a function in Mumbai yesterday. The cars will be imported as CBUs, and the range will begin at a price of Rs 63 lakh.
The range sold in India will consist of the Jaguar XKR, XF and XFR, whereas SUV enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Discovery 3, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will retail in India. The top-end Range Rover Sport will retail for Rs 89 lakh. Tata Motors has been declared the exclusive importers of the two brands, and the first showroom has been opened at Ceejay House in Worli, Mumbai. The dealer network will be expanded over this year and the next.
